Pay would be based off of experience: Hourly
Expected hours: 40-70 per week with rotational time off
Duties would include, but not be limited to:
Cattle Work Description:
- Daily feeding, watering, checking health, calving, doctoring of cow/calf herd
- Fence maintenance, gathering and moving livestock (with ATV and pickup)
Farm Work Description:
- Machinery operation - skid steer, truck, tractor, grain cart, planter, drill, sprayer, loader, feed truck
- Dryland crop practices - no-till farming, spraying, planting, drilling and harvesting
General Experience Preferred:
- Mowing, weed-eating and general maintenance of residential properties
- Machinery maintenance
- General mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with grain elevator operating is a plus
- Welding and general construction skills are a plus
Requirements:
- Must be able to take initiative and anticipate the next step.
- Must be able to take direction and have good communication skills.
- Must be dependable.
